Our Vision
Self-Propelled
Freight Railcars
RailHaul's technology is a Distributed Power, Energy Harvesting and Traction system. It can be applied as a retrofit to existing freight cars on trains or as part of our full shuttle systems. 25-55% of the total energy requirement for the return duty cycle can be harvested & deployed as traction.
RailHaul is working with the Halifax Port Authority
The RailHaul Container Shuttle Concept is a collaborative effort between RailHaul and the Halifax Port Authority. We are exploring how to replace 1,700 diesel truck trips per week through downtown Halifax with a rail-based solution. The goal is to provide a 100% reduction in CO2 emissions that is quieter and more efficient than traditional rail service.

About RailHaul
We've invested the past decade in R&D. Our team has a proven history of commercializing rail technologies with a focus on lowering the all in cost per ton delivered while improving train safety and reducing emissions.
RailHaul is working with its partners to commercialize our technology through proof of concept projects with clients.
We would like to hear about your material movement challenges that could be solved by energy harvesting on existing trains or by self-propelled RailHaul Shuttles.
